TAIA-MIMI ELLEN
My interest in studying Marketing and Management developed through my experience working in the hospitality sector. I developed a strong interest into how marketing strategies are different between markets and how they are used to create engaging experiences for customers. While working alongside management, I supported the planning and delivery of events and activities tailored to different age groups and audiences such as weddings and corporate events.
This experience allowed me to further understand the importance and influence of management and marketing decisions on ensuring customer satisfaction and overall commercial success. This hands-on involvement motivated me to further explore how businesses operate and grow. I was involved in projects advertising fashion brands, through which I developed a passion in fashion marketing and how brand image and visual communication influence consumer perception.
This experience highlighted how strategic marketing and visual storytelling influence brand identity and desirability. Fashion has influenced my desire to study marketing due to the constant evolution of consumer trends alongside management decisions behind successful brands. I am keen to study marketing as I aim to build a career within the marketing sector, with a particular interest in consumer-focused and creative industries.
